BIOGRAPHY | Eugenia Russi Circus Performer

Arts Education & Professional Employment

Beginning her studies in 1995, Eugenia trained in Artistic Gymnastics & Modern Dance at various schools in Minsk (Belarus).

In 2000 she moved to Civitavecchia, near Rome, Italy, where she continued training in Artistic Gymnastics at AS Gin Civitavecchia with teachers : Camilla Ugolini Marco Sacco and Marco Massara.

In 2007, she won the championship at the regional level, finishing in First Place at the championship of series B individual category of Italian Federation of Gymnastics ( FGI )

At the age of 17, she began studying the Classica and Modern Dance and participated in various workshops of different dance styles with teachers of National and International repute like : Roberto Salaorni, Marco Sellati, Marco Yerva, Jonathan Castillo, Flavio Bennati.

Her professional career began working as an Acrobat -Dancer in 2007 and as a performer for several Musical, Theatre, Shows/Events in Italy, for exsample: Theatre Brancaccio of Rome, Theatre Sistina of Rome, Theatre Augusteo of Naples, Olimpic Stadium of Rome, Marmis Stadium of Roma.

In 2012 she decided to travel to China in the city of Beijing to train at Beijing's International School of Circus Arts, to specialize in Handstand and Aerial Straps. At the end of the one year training course, she obtained a graduating diploma specialised in these two disciplines.

When Eugenia finished the school in China she immidiatly start to work in Varius Events, Big Shows and Comapanies like: Abytia Birla Awards in India - Les nFarfadais - Italian Hairdresser Award - La Fiesta Escenica
At the same time she never stop to progress and evolve her performance partecipating on varius Workshop and Classes with International Artists like : Stepan Melnyk, and Nicolas Montes de Oca.

She is currently performing at various events and in the Cruis Ships with her Hand-balancing and Aerial Straps Performance. With her big artistic experience she becoming Acrobatic Coach on the Cruis Ship of Mein Schiff.
